Forum leader

Karoline Sjøen Andersen is Project Manager for CCS Haugalandet on behalf of Haugaland Business Park—Norway’s largest fully regulated industrial area. She is also the CEO and founder of Fremje AS, a consultancy specialising in strategy, communication, and public affairs.

She holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science for Energy and Nanotechnology from the University of Oslo, and previously served as a political adviser in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy during the development of the white paper for the Longship project.

Karoline brings extensive experience at the intersection of industry, policy, and public administration, with particular expertise in CCS, stakeholder coordination, and industrial cluster development.


A technical forum for sharing experience and insight on CCUS infrastructure – from capture to transport and storage.

The forum brings together stakeholders from across the CCUS value chain to improve coordination, reduce fragmentation, and build a shared understanding of infrastructure-related opportunities and challenges.

  • Sharing experience from existing and planned CCUS infrastructure projects

  • Identifying common needs, bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardisation

  • Coordination on CO2 specifications, transport solutions, and storage capacity

  • Developing a shared knowledge base for members and other forums
